The Olive Team of the École Nationale d'Agriculture de Meknès (ENA) is the Project Executing Agency. ENA is a leading institution in higher education in agriculture and is under the authority of the Moroccan agriculture ministry. It is located in Meknès, an area known for its ancestral tradition of olive growing.

The ENA Olive Team (Meknès) is housed in an olive farming technology centre equipped with laboratories and facilities covering different aspects of the commodity chain (bio-molecular, genetic, in vitro culture, greenhouse, processing unit, olive oil analysis, demonstration orchards, tasting room, varietal collection, …). Its staff of researchers, technicians and doctoral and post-doctoral students spans several disciplines and its activities are hinged on theoretical research, development and technology transfer relating to the olive tree.  

The Team collaborates with several international partners: INRA and CNRS, Montpellier, France;  CNR, Florence, Italy; CIFA, Córdoba, Spain; DAP, regional government of Andalusia, Spain; International University of Andalusia, Spain; Institut de l'Olivier, Sfax, Tunisia; and the Mediterranean Routes of the Olive Tree, Greece.
